I see that I still somehow have 88 people watching me here, though I assume many or most are just as idle at DA as I have been for many years. Having personally-branded portfolio opportunities is important to me given what I do, and while it does seem like DA has started offering that to its users in some way, I wouldn't be me if I were readily accepting someone else's work to build an online portfolio. We're running the CoNvent Calendar again this year, after a successful run last December. If you missed it, the calendar is exactly what you might be imagining - a digital advent calendar that opens up a new fanart every day between December 1 and Christmas Day. We've currently got nearly double the amount of fanart we need to fill the calendar, and it's still coming in.
