They pull you every which way. I didn't know how many I had working on me until the last month or so! First, we took off to Ireland, at which we had the time of our lives. I've posted most of my touristy photos on my Facebook page, for those who have seen it or at least know how to find it. I might post a couple "nicer" photos here, but I kind of feel like it might be a waste of my time to do so. Feel free to ask if you want, though. Folks who do have me friended on FB can see a couple moderately amusing videos, too.

Once we got back, it was right into the midst of work again. It seemed like not a lot got done while I was gone, so the first week and a half back were pretty miserable. That's mostly behind me now, at least for a few weeks, so I'm going to try to catch my breath.

Of course, the spring soccer session is in full swing again, and my wife and I are playing softball this summer as well, and we're flying again pretty soon to hit some graduations, so it's not like I'm going to be sitting around here any more than usual, I guess. I was here long enough to make a new CSS based upon the new standard CSS (just like my old one was based on the old defaults), so that counts for something, I guess.


Surely some of you people see some of the things I cover for *DailyDeviants, like the whole artisan crafts section, designs and interfaces, resources and tutorials, and the like. As part of the above block of text, won't you have pity on me and note me some people that are worth checking out? Send me a link to the user's gallery, a few thumbnails that are awesome, and a bit of a description of their work and I'll do my best to get your name in lights as one of our suggesters. We don't ask much, just don't send us thumbs of anything that already has a daily deviation, and try to suggest users that are at 20k pageviews or below, by and large.


I've got a poll up over here asking whether you have used Critiques yet. ~aora sagely noted that there's no option for "I would if I had a sub," which is quite astute; I assume that of the eight folks who said so far they wouldn't bother, some of those might be swayed if they had a sub to play with. Would be nice to see more numbers in the poll to get a better feel for how the community is accepting the feature, but I guess with twenty responses, it's probably more by a couple orders of magnitude than I would get on deviation comments, so it's all good.


That I got more piercings and my first tattoo in February? I only think of it now because I just put the bar in my new industrial for the first time last week, and I'm still getting used to it. For those counting, that's six individual holes in me and one 2.5" round splotch of black ink. I'd show you all if I were in better shape, it's too embarrassing to show it off now.

Oh, yeah, and I'll say again, if you have a broken RB guitar (not Wii, anything else will do) that has the case still in great shape, let me know. I might be looking for a parts guitar for some case modding.
